Date & Time
Wednesday, October 11, 2017, 10:45 AM - 12:15 PM
Housing cooperatives are a critical part of permanently affordable housing, especially in dense urban areas where single-family homes are out of reach of low and moderate income people. Housing cooperatives not only provide permanently affordable housing, but also create community among the members, encourage sharing of resources and significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the residents. Learn more about the co-op model and the cooperative movement in this participatory session.
