Rayden Sorock is the Community Garden Program Manager for Grow Pittsburgh, an urban agriculture non-profit committed to teaching children, youth and adults how to grow food and providing resources to people starting or supporting food gardens in their communities.

Rayden brings experience in training community garden organizers and building community gardens from the ground up. Over 5 years, he has worked directly with dozens of garden groups in the region.

Grow Pittsburgh, in partnership with Allegheny Land Trust is launching an urban agriculture land trust this year to permanently protect community gardens and urban farms from rising property values.

Rayden has lived in Pittsburgh since 2009 and enjoys playing ice hockey, organizing film screenings, orienteering and gardening at home.
