Description
This advanced level course is for municipal and nonprofit staff responsible for managing a portfolio of homes with lasting affordability restrictions. Participants should have at least 5 years of experience or a management role in a program with units at least five years old. Maintaining and administering a homeownership program with lasting affordability requires ongoing risk analysis and mitigation to make sure that units aren’t lost to the market or foreclosure or need significant reinvestment upon resale. This discussion based course for advanced practitioners will focus on emerging practices and tools on topics such as monitoring for compliance, early warning signs, enforcement, dashboard surveys and aging portfolios. This course’s content will be based on the needs and interests of the registered participants. Once you have registered, you will be sent a survey to better understand your interests.
