Date & Time
Thursday, October 4, 2018, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
Kim Graziani Beth Sorce
Description
Many communities struggle with a lack of quality affordable housing. At the same time, many communities have a significant amount of vacant and abandoned properties. It’s a common question: can’t those properties be reused for quality affordable housing? This session will look at how various systems, such as land banking, can “unlock” properties that are trapped in decline, so that communities can reuse them for quality affordable housing and other critical needs.
