Rick Jacobus Jeff Yegian
In this problem-solving session, we will take-up real-world issues facing inclusionary housing program leaders. Possible topics include: What are the pros and cons of collecting fees vs. requiring units to be built on site? How can we best update policy when the housing market in parts of the city have shifted significantly since the policy's passage? What will it take to shift to a mandatory policy when a voluntary program hasn’t been as effective as intended? How do we ensure that buyers of inclusionary homes have access to appropriate mortgage financing? Lend your experience and problem-solving skills to tackle some hot topics in the field while learning what your peers have to say.
