Description
This is an advanced-level, hands-on course geared towards nonprofit practitioners who have at least 5 years of experience administering homeownership programs. Participants should be comfortable with Excel and manage a program budget. Please bring a laptop to class.
Organizational sustainability is critical in order to honor our industry's commitment to long-term stewardship of affordable homeownership units. That means thinking about how to sustain financial health and mission impact over the long term. This course will introduce participants to the concept of building a sustainable nonprofit business model that involves analyzing your current mix of programs and revenue streams and identifying ways to make them more sustainable.
