This intermediate level course is for policy makers and municipal program staff as well as for nonprofit program staff that partner or contract with municipalities. More and more municipalities are incentivizing or requiring lasting affordability in their homeownership programs. This session focuses on the program design and implementation considerations that are unique to public programs. With an emphasis on transparency, compliance, enforcement and partnerships, this session highlights best practices (and tough lessons learned) from a wide range of municipal programs.
