Sherrill Frost-Brown is the Vice President of Member Services and Community Development at the National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA). She has been in the fair housing field since 1995 and at NFHA since 2002. As VP of Member Services, she oversees technical assistance to NFHA member organizations with a focus on fostering fair and inclusive communities.

In 2010, Ms. Frost-Brown began coordinating NFHA’s National Housing Accessibility Partnership (HAP) program designed to improve housing accessibility for homeowners and renters. The HAP program provides grants to local and regional Centers for Independent Living (CIL), fair housing centers and affordable housing partners to retrofit homes and apartments for persons with disabilities.

Ms. Frost Brown’s responsibilities also include NFHA’s Inclusive Communities (IC) program. The IC program began in 2013 following the resolution of an administrative housing discrimination complaint. Under the settlement agreement, NFHA received funds that were reinvested in communities adversely affected by residential mortgage foreclosures. Ms. Frost-Brown administers the community relief funds in partnership with local non-profit organizations to promote home ownership, neighborhood stabilization, property rehabilitation and community development.
